Lovely CQ blocks Suz.I like the white flower in July block,it's very pretty and love your Up and down buttonhole circle.
ReplyDeleteLove those blocks Suz.
ReplyDeleteAll the blocks together look great, Suz.

You are moving right along! Your July block turned out nicely. That red/green/white ribbon is such a fun addition. I like the flowers in the bottom left and, well, everything else.
ReplyDeleteIt is great seeing your blocks together. They really are cohesive and have a wintery, fun feel to them.
Your up and down buttonhole samples are nice too. That combination at the top looks like a ruffle edging. That would look great framing something!
Thank you, Anita. I've been having lots of fun on the blocks lately.
ReplyDeleteLove your hardanger piece.

Thanks Judy. They're a lot of fun to stitch.

Thank you, Dianne. I'm happy with them so far.. Would be pretty sad on a wall hanging if they didn't mesh, wouldn't it? I thought that since it's the same fabrics being used there would be some cohesiveness, but I'm quite pleased how well they fit.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful week. .

Thanks Fox. Sort of explains why there hasn't been much tatting going on, lately, but I hope to get back to it soon.

Thanks, Connie. For some reason lately, the blocks just seem to fly -- I'm not struggling to decide what to do where. I think it's finding what works for me: doing one thing, and then moving from there step by step. I'm not trying to plan it all out ahead of time, so I'm not stressing myself out about seam treatments. I'm just letting the block develop bit by bit. Seems to work for me........ don't tell anyone, but I've already finished August, and I'm thinking about September's...shhh....gotta get ahead before DD and family arrive.........
ReplyDeleteHope your day has some fun stitching in it.

On this picture the white flower is much better visible.
