July Madness

My gardens are wild and weedy. Some shrubs are too big and bushy, but I've been too busy packing to tend to my plants. Here's a little peek:

Well, our move is on the 11th, and there's still running around and more packing to do. Yet, there have been quiet moments at tea breaks during the day, and some time in the evenings to stitch.
In spite of good intentions, I've not made any progress on my July block, and shall have to play a little catch-up later.
On piece #7 of my wrapping cloth,  a bazillion bullions were added here and there

lots of buttonhole lace, too

and french knots
 organza ribbon .....

and lace flowers on top

auditioning lace strips for the sides....hmmmm...I think they'll stay.

Maybe some more buttonhole lace....
what do you think?

Happy Stitching!
Hope everyone had a special Canada Day!
Happy 4th of July!

Thanks for visiting.
Hugs from Suz

  3. Not to worry...moving is a very huge task and only so much can get done. Your flowers are lovely. I cannot imagine all the stitching you have added to your beautiful cloth. You are creating heirlooms dear. Safe moving and here's to new adventures...

  5. best of luck for 11th, at least you are packing now. My daughter Helen should have moved yesterday but she is now doing it today as we decided to clean her new house prior to moving in. You are much more organised, we only started packing up on monday, loads and loads of boxes but as she is moving from shared rented housing very little furniture to move so she has been busy buying, spending money like it is going out of fashion!
Your garden looks a real picture, lucky people who are moving in to an established garden
    Stitching as always is immaculate.

  6. The garden looks so lovely, even though you have not tended to it as much as you would have liked. The wrapping cloth is gorgeous.
