Welcome to my place where I share my tatting, painting, paper and fabric creations. I love to experiment with many elements and to take photos of my little corner of the world. I do hope you enjoy your visit.

Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day November 11, 2011: 11/11/11
On the 11th Hour, Of the 11th Day, Of the 11th Month......
In Remembrance and with Gratitude. For those who have served, those serving now, and those yet called to serve. Bless you and Thank you.
I just wanted to remind everyone that our freedoms today came at a high price, and we should never forget that wars shatter lives, families, and communities. Hugs
I like to remind everyone, Shirley, having had family members off and fighting in the war. It is too easy to take our freedoms for granted: I know I did as a younger adult. I guess wisdom and understanding come with age. It is also too easy to forget those who fought, and who continue the fight. Bless you
I was trying to come up with a Veterans post that is worthy and my mind went blank. Yours is perfection! Thank you dear...

The boys who go to war to keep us safe are all heroes. Thank you for this lovely post Suz. Remembrance day is the same day here in Oz.

Wonderful post, nice choice of words.
ReplyDeleteI wore my poppy constantly in Las Vegas and there were quite a few Canadians wearing theirs too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad, Karen. Thank you for showing your support.
