A Giftee and My Garden

I won a little 'giftie' from Judy's Fabrications and here's what she sent me:

A wonderful layered and lacy fabric flower with a covered button center, and a funky lace and paper shoe, which I think would make a unique pincushion.

Thank you so much Judy! I love my gifties.

Some shots of my gardens and the lake:

Look at all the blooms on this fuschia!

 trilliums in the woods
taken over a week ago they are now faded
I like the shadows on this rock

Hope your day has some sunshine.

Thanks for visiting.

Tatfully Yours, we had delivery. Thursday I went to mail several items, and the post office was closed, the postal boxes taped shut. I'm not sure how long it will last.

Hi Diane! We are lucky to have this place to live, and yes, most of the year it is peaceful and quiet, and perfect for creating.

Thank you Dorthe. Hope you are having a creative day.

  6. Such pretty gifts - lucky you! I love your fuschias - they seem early compared to the rest of your blooms. Do you over-winter them, or buy them new each year? Your lake looks so serene - lovely!

  8. Thanks Janet. I bought the hanging basket this year as there are few options for plants up this way, and if one doesn't grab it when first seen, it'll be gone. The hummingbirds enjoy them, and I have a more or less pink and purple color scheme going, so it fits right in. Have a good weekend. Hugs

  16. Hi Dianne. We do live in a gorgeous spot, by a small lake in the bush, and are the only year-round residents, which makes for lots of peace amd quiet, but also some isolation. Hugs
